Vinum Veress Pintes


An oustanding species is Pintes, of antique Hungarian origins, which seemed to have disappeared after the filoxera disaster in the 19th Century. By now only a territory of 1,5 hectares, entirely owned by our family has survived. Pintes – the wine can only be found in our cellar. It is a real rarity, available only in a few thousand samples. Pintes’ unique flavour and scents recall the past centuries. It is the symbol, a sort of „ wine incarnation ” of true rustical Hungarian products. Pintes is part of Hungarian wine history, its preservation is our duty.
It was harvested end of September – all biological maturity – and prepared by reductive wine technology. Wine is shining yellow and light dancing motion. Scent evokes carries the spices of Hungarian cuisine. Although the pepper dominate the space, behind it can be discovered – a little aeration – savory, rosemary and thyme chasing the glass. Its flavour is emphasized, the same freshness of a fine resin background. In the mid sip – mouth spread – a mild salty flavour and acidity also plays us the most beautifully unfolds here. Its delicious aftertaste and deep flavour wine.

Riesling 2011

Full-bodied wine was prepared shrivelled grapes which were harvested in late November. Residual sugar and acid content meet excellent ratio. Due to the late harvest time high alcohol content of the wine, extract and acid create perfect harmony Walnuts, almonds and Turkish honey can be discovered in aromas. The wine was matured for twice six months in oak barrels.

Wine was made of in mid-November harvested ripe, shrivelled, picked grapes and was matured in oak barrels for six months. The colour of wine is straw yellow and can be discovered quince, dried figs and citrus in aromas. The residual sugar, elegant acid and late flavours create perfect harmony, which make ladies favourite.

It is a salmon-colored wine with red fruit – raspberry, strawberry – scent and crunchy acids. Fresh and lightweight character.

Wine is dry, elegant, greenish-yellow and playful nature which prepared by reductive technology. Nettle and elderberry is perceptible with fruity – apples, peaches – in the wine, which makes even more exciting.

It was harvested all biological maturity and prepared by reductive wine technology. Wine is pleasant taste and world of fragrance recognizable the old Hungarian garden flower – Reseda – and almond character.
